THE ROCKIES!!!!!!!
Hey everyone! (Happy Birthday Brother John) I hope you all are well. Annie and I are super! We just had a couple of great days of biking to and through the Rockies. We are now in Fernie. We have had really cold weather lately. ("You have Two Pairs of gloves? uhh ya, we're in the rockies") we woke up to snow one of the days! Two days ago we were stuck in a snow storm and were out of food so we hitched to the next town which brought us to Creston. We gave our legs a nice break and are ready to start again. Our next stop is Alberta!
We are now staying at gary and leannes house and they are super nice. tomorow we will be into alberta (weather permitting)
yesterday we got a foot of snow so we took it easy.
To cope with the cold nights. annie and i have "second-handedly" bought one peice snowsuits to sleep in. Ahhh finally a solid nights sleep.
well until next time, take care,
(Pictures are on their way) so keep looking.

Hey Everyone!
Sorry about the long time no contact. We have arrived in Osoyoos after a 76km of biking yesterday. The valley is very hot and we both have nice sunburns. Climbing the summits have been challenging but VERY rewarding. Many people have been encouraging us when they drive by, by honking and yelling "COME ON!" "GOOOOOO".
The wildlife viewing has been great. We have seen loads of mule deer, a few groundhogs, a mountain beaver and loads of birds. Two nights ago we went to bed with the noises of a pack of coyotes yipping.
Well we should get on our bikes again and keep going. Thanks for all those who are supporting us and cheering us on.

About to begin
Hey everyone, our trip is about to begin! We are leaving on the 8 o'clock Fulford ferry tomorrow so we will try to have a good night sleep. Our nerves might keep us awake though. We'll start biking at the Tsawassen ferry terminal and follow highway 99 south until we reach highway 10 east which will take us to highway 3. So everyone who is reading this, please, pray for our legs! Thanks to all of you who supported us in the preliminary stages of this trip. We won't let you down.
Love
Annie and Peter
